Hello, I’m Mark, I narrated the audiobook version of this book, so it goes without saying that I read the book! I found Mr. Anthony’s work to be illuminating-it helped me realize there are some areas of Christian living where I need to strengthen my walk. I particularly liked the chapters on understanding adversity in proper context, and God’s discipline. The book inspired me to do a lot of reflecting and praying on what God wants from me-what He wants me doing. Every idea and argument is shown by scriptural cross-references to be theologically solid. I also very much liked the poetry sprinkled throughout the book. I recommend this book to the new or young believer looking to learn more about God’s word, and what Christian living should look like.
